I. NAME, PURPOSE, AND INCORPORATION
A. The name of this church shall be the College Avenue Baptist Church of Normal, Illinois;
hereinafter referred to as this church.
B. The purpose of this church shall be to carry out the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ
as recorded in Matthew 28:16-20 and Acts 1:8; and to develop Christian fellowship and growth
in the knowledge of our Lord.
C. This church shall be incorporated in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, and the
handling of property shall be in accordance with such laws.
