Generally, our weekday evening activities will be cancelled when the Unit 5 schools have closed or have dismissed early. For any other cancellations (including Sunday activities) please
listen to radio station WJBC, 1230AM for details.

Deacon Ordination Service
You are invited to attend the Deacon Ordination service on Sunday, February 28th for Mitch Kropp and Dave Lander.

Care Ministry Team
There will be a short meeting immediately following the worship service on Sunday, February 28th for those currently serving on the Care Ministry Team and anyone who is interested in
joining this ministry.
Easter Egg Hunt Organization Meeting
There will be a short meeting immediately following the morning worship service on Sunday, March 7th for those who are willing to help with the Easter Egg Hunt. Your help is needed
in order for this outreach activity to be a success.
Adult Choir
There will be adult choir practice Sunday, March 7th at 5:00 P.M. Come and lift your voice in song as we prepare for Easter.
Easter Egg Hunt
CABC will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 3rd starting at 10:00 A.M. at Carden Park (by Prairieland Elementary school off of Raab Road). We are hoping to fill at least
5000 eggs. To fill the eggs we need your help. Please consider donating individually wrapped candy, plastic eggs, and door prizes. Cash donations are also fine, designate
"Easter egg hunt" on your check/envelope. we will also need many volunteers to make this event a success. If interested in helping, see Terri Schmidt, Michelle Ratcliff, Sara Peters, or call the
church office.
Furnace Fund
We have a goal to raise the funds necessary to replace the upstairs furnace in the current building by Fall of 2010. We have received an estimate of $6300 which includes
the furnace and air conditioner. Will you help? Designate "furnace" on your check/offering envelope.
Buckets of Hope
Our association (ECIBA) is participating in the Buckets of Hope. To fill a Bucket of Hope costs approximately $30 (plus $10 to help with shipping). The food in each bucket will then
feed a Haitian family for one week. See Sara Peters for more information. We will see that all the buckets are delivered to the ECIBA building prior to the March 1st deadline.
Join us in Praying for a Miracle
We expect God to continue moving mountains as we enter the final stages of our building project. We will be fasting and praying during the Lenten season and invite you to join us in seeking God for our
community.
God's Plan for Sharing (GPS)
In the weeks leading up to Easter we plan to blitz the community with prayer-walking and door-hangers. Many volunteers are needed for all phases of GPS. An
introductory/prayer meeting will be held Wednesday, March 3rd at 6:30 P.M. Sharing Your Faith Training Sessions will be held on the Wednesdays of March 10th
and March 17th. Mark your calendar and come learn more about how you can participate in God's Plan for Sharing.
Hey Kids in Grades 1 through 6
Are you ready for the next exciting mission trip? Children's Mission Day is Saturday, March 13th, 2010! All attending kids (first through sixth grade) at CABC are eligible
to attend. Kids will meet real missionaries, and will participate in the mission run, camp crafts, basketball shootout, and other FUN competitions! Moms and Dads please register your
child with Josh Jett or call the church office by Sunday, February 28th to make plans for you child to attend. We will meet at the church on Saturday, March 13th at 11:00
A.M. and return around 7:30 P.M.
Food Pantry

Building Update
Building for Eternity is underway!

We have received a total of $31,613 since the Building for Eternity capital campaign began in October of 2009. Below is a snapshot
of available funding and the amount needed to finish the project:
Estimated cost to finish the new building: $291,200 5,600 sq. ft.
Contributions received to date: $ 33,246 639 sq. ft.
Outstanding pledges: $ 18,381 353 sq. ft.
Subtotal $ 51,627 992 sq. ft.
Current amount needed to finish the project: $239,573 4,608 sq. ft.
